Khodkevychi Palace

Khodkevychi Palace

Traces of the Russ' ancient town Muravytsia, which was mentioned in chronicles in 1149, have been found on the northern outskirts. The small town belonged to the Khodkevich family in 1566. A large palace ensemble was built here, on the picturesque shores of the calm river Ikva, by the rulers of Mlynov in 1780. The architect E. Schreger of the Polish King Stanislaw-August, who was a representative of the school of fashionable classicism at that time, was engaged to develop the project.
