Equestrian club "Patriot" was established in 2007 according to the initiative of the Kernytsky family. The purpose and objectives of the club included the promotion and development of equestrian sports in Rivne region and Ukraine as a whole, as well as the active promotion of healthy lifestyle ideas and general interest of various segments of the population of Rivne and the region to ride equestrian sports, as well as to encourage horseriding in general and help sick children with cerebral palsy via hippotherapy.

Currently, the Patriot Sports Complex keeps 29 horses.
There is the Children's and Youth Sports School. For sports there are all necessary ammunition and equipment, men's and women's locker rooms and showers.
There is also an indoor arena, the size of which allows you to compete in the winter.

Hippotherapy affects a person through two factors: biomechanical and psychogenic ones. The horse transmits about a hundred oscillating impulses to the rider in a minute, at the reflex level the rider is involved in almost all muscle groups, stimulates the development of fine motor skills, the formation of complex and precise movements.
