A unique small corner of nature in the suburbs is a place to relax with the whole family. The collection of animals includes 179 species from all of the continents, 24 of which are listed in the World Red Book. The main part of the zoo is the remains of an old orchard and it is the only natural forest within the city with an area of 4.7 hectares.
The territory of the ZOO is a home to over 130 species of trees, shrubs and herbaceous plants. Almost 30 species of animals are born in the Zoo every year.
Rivne ZOO is a scientific and educational institution, the main functions of which are the preservation and reproduction of endangered species and the promotion of natural knowledge among the population. You can learn more about each animal in detail at the information stands, get qualified information from the zoo's specialists or book a tour.
